Why We Operate This Way
Ghost Armory offers National Firearms Act (“NFA”) regulated items, including but not limited to silencers/suppressors and short-barreled rifles (“SBRs”), for sale through its platform, strictly in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
ROLE OF GHOST ARMORY
Ghost Armory offers NFA-regulated items for sale and facilitates the lawful transfer of those items from the supplier to the Federal Firearms Licensee (“FFL”) selected by the customer at checkout. Ghost Armory’s role is limited to facilitating the transfer of NFA items from the supplier to the customer’s selected FFL.
Ghost Armory does not:
- Conduct background checks
- Process ATF Form 4473
- Approve, certify, or submit ATF Forms 1 or 4
- Store NFA items
- Complete the final transfer of NFA items directly to customers
All final paperwork, certifications, approvals, background checks, storage, and physical transfer of the NFA item to the customer are handled exclusively by the customer’s chosen FFL/SOT.
FFL & SOT REQUIREMENTS
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the FFL selected at checkout holds an active Federal Firearms License and a valid Special Occupational Tax (“SOT”) license capable of receiving and transferring NFA items.
Ghost Armory cannot and will not ship silencers or SBRs to non-SOT licensed facilities. Orders may be delayed, canceled, or subject to additional fees if an invalid or non-SOT FFL is selected.
SILENCER SHOP & TAX STAMP REQUIREMENTS
Customers purchasing suppressors must have an active Silencer Shop profile and a valid tax stamp associated with their account prior to purchase.
PROCESSING DELAYS & GOVERNMENT TIMELINES
All NFA transfers and approvals are subject to government processing timelines that are entirely outside of Ghost Armory’s control. Timelines vary widely. Please be patient — it’s the government… they don’t work fast for any of us.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY & COMPLIANCE
Customers are solely responsible for legal compliance and understanding the NFA process. Ghost Armory is not responsible for delays, denials, or regulatory outcomes.
NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
All NFA sales are final. Customers are responsible for correct item and caliber selection.
